If your pickup or drop-off address changes, please use the form below to request a change in transportation; please send the completed form to your child's school. If your child attends an out-of-district school, please send the completed form to Central Office.

    I would like to provide an update on busing for students who reside in Thomaston, Plymouth and Terryville, Since Thomaston and Plymouth Public Schools terminated transportation to Maloney Magnet School, Rotella Magnet School, and Waterbury Arts Magnet School for the 2025-2026 school year. I have taken action to ensure you still have access to buses next year.


    In collaboration with our Chief Operating Officer, Nick Albini, and All-Star Transportation, we continue to work together to solve this issue. Providing student transportation is essential for many families to access our excellent Magnet School programs here in Waterbury Public Schools. As you know, these three schools excel in academic pathways and extracurricular activities that shape a well-rounded student, and your enrollment is key to their success.


    I am confident that we will provide transportation solutions for the 2025-2026 school year. Once finalized, I will send you detailed updates, If you have any questions, please contact your schools office staff.

    Parents of out-of-district students must drop-off/pick-up at the Thomaston High School hub shelter in accordance with the Thomaston Public Schools Bus Hub Rules.  At times, the regular bus hub schedule will be affected by unplanned schedule changes like those caused by weather or other emergencies, i.e., school cancellations, delayed openings and early dismissals.
